Is it too early for 'The Twitch' yet?

Do you suffer with this affliction? I'm terrible for it and it's started earlier this year as I've been organised and I'm about done

See on the one hand I'm glad when I get everything bought & wrapped early, but really it just leaves more time for the twitch!

I leave the wrapping until much closer to the day to reduce the need to twitch...but then I twitch on wrapping paper!!

I have been known to wrap presents, go off the wrapping paper and then re-wrap them all (I wouldn't do that now because I'm much more aware of the environment before anyone jumps on me)

Of course I've twitched! DD was done and dusted last month and then I saw a couple of several things I know she would love so I bought them.

I blame my DDad...King of the Christmas Eve Twitch and he has passed the baton on to me.

Bloody hell . I have barely started shopping !

You're all done, presents wrapped and you're not spending a single penny more

And then suddenly, you're spending more than single pennies as things catch your eye all over the place

Also it can be used to describe where you're all done and suddenly decide it's just not enough

I’m sorry to hear that hby9628. Sending hugs to you and your family. 🫂 I can understand why feeling low could make you twitch especially if your trying to make things easier for children.
I hope things get better for you. I appreciate that might not be possible depending on the circumstances. ❤️‍🩹
