Christmas tree lights

Has any one bought those new-fangled lights, the ones which have a small ring which you pop over the top of your tree, then 8 or 10 wires with lights on them descend? The idea is that this is much easier and quicker than winding normal long strings round and about.

I am tempted but the ones on Amazon don’t look long enough to reach the bottom branches of our 8ft tree. Any one with experience of these?,

I bought some this year and they're so much easier than the rope ones. I think my tree is 6 foot and they drop almost to the floor so below the lower branches.

I bought these; GARITE Christmas Tree Lights, 6.6FT x 16Line 400LED

I've just ordered some. For £27 I really hope they are good!

I’ve just ordered Funbag3’s version. I’ll see how they go on the slightly shorter tree in the dining room.

Xmas Tree Lights, Qelus 3m x 16 Strands 480 LEDs Christmas Tree Lights for 9-12ft Christmas Tree, Timer 8 Modes Memory Function Waterproof Waterfall Fairy String Lights Warm White for Outdoor Indoor https://amzn.eu/d/2MUK5FF

This is the one I've just bought - the 3m version as we'll have a massive tree. We can compare in a few weeks when ours goes up!

Ours arrived and DH was persuaded to unearth the dining room tree from the cellar.
The new lights are excellent, such a brainwave ‘saves a lot of pissing about’ said DH. I am considering getting another set for the larger dining room tree. The lights easily reach the bottom branches.
Thanks, funbags3 for the encouragement and I hope you are just as pleased with yours, NotExactlySuits.

They're awesome, aren't they? I can't believe I've only just bought some.

I meant I might get another set for the sitting room tree. We don’t have two trees in the dining room.
