Christmas fun at work

For various reasons we would like to inject some festive fun into our day at work. We are a very small company of 7 people so know it will be well received. we do this sort of stuff all the time so it won’t be ‘forced joviality’!! Was thinking of doing one thing each working day.

I needs some ideas so far I have

put up the Xmas tree
decorate mini gingerbread houses
xmas carol/songs emoji quiz
xmas film picture quiz
festive hot choc bar
our secret Santa /lunch buffet day
xmas jumper day

looking for some relatively cheap ideas.

What about a charity one? Christmas toy or food collection/donation (maybe for a local charity or the Lidl toy bank)

Christmas bake off
Secret Santa
Christmas socks day
Mulled wine making
You could go to a local carol service

My fear would be that not everyone actually loves Christmas so every day might be intense! But your company sounds cute so enjoy.

Do you not still have work to do?

I appreciate I’m coming from a different viewpoint, but my workload triples through December so the thought of doing anything non-essential would be reason enough to lose my temper with the organiser.
Do what you want of course, but you really don’t need a massive list.

For us December is our quiet month. We have had an extremely busy, stressful and full on 6 months and we already know it’s all going to kick off again in January so we are taking the chance to chill a bit, catch up on admin and just enjoy the festive season while we can.

Christmas piñata always goes down well in our office!
