I'm looking for a smallish realistic rabbit soft toy. Not megabucks but nice. Anyone come across one?

Have you tried Jellycat? They are gorgeous and think there's a Black Friday sale x

Windy1234 · 26/11/2023 12:37

www.jellycat.com/bashful-beige-bunny-bas3b/

Think the sale might have ended but John Lewis, Waterstones etc do them so some might have sales xx

If you want realistic it’s got to be the lop hasn’t it? So cute.

LadyMacbethWasMisunderstood · 26/11/2023 15:33

Jellycat is great. But not realistic. If that’s what you are after you need Hansa. Lots of rabbits available. They are adorable.

slipperypenguin · 26/11/2023 15:37

Check out pitter patter pals bunnies

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 26/11/2023 16:38

When I was a little girl a million years ago my favorite sort toy was a arctic fox stole that belonged to my grandmother. Complete with head, tail and paws. I was an adult before my mother confessed that it was actually a REAL ARCTIC FOX......😮😮

My Nana had a brooch for her "good coat" that I really loved (when I was 5yo) , there was a purple gemstone , it was capped in silver and was an real bird foot . Like an eagle or similar Shock . I did not inherit it , neither did my mum , so no idea where this delight ended up . !

Depending on the age of the recipient (this looks like it would scare a small child ....)
I'm not a rabbit person myself (guinea-pigs were my favourite) but I do prefer a bog standard sticky up ear rabbit . Anything that looks more like a hare .

Another pp has mentioned the Living nature one (amazon). We bought dgd one of the lops for easter one year and popped it in a cardboard pet carrier with hay and it looked so realistic and fab quality too. It's held up well and is a firm favourite.

I love this Hansa one - it looks like it has personality!

Have a look on the Lincrafts site as they have some lovely ones .

Mumaway · 26/11/2023 17:24

Living Nature brand do very nice quality 'realistic' animal toys

CurlewKate · 26/11/2023 17:45

@70isaLimitNotaTarget It would probably have been a grouse's foot. They were often used as brooches or hat decorations....

SkalengeckOrSiegbarste · 26/11/2023 18:18

We have several living nature animals and they are lovely. I bought DD a ginger & white rabbit that made me think of of the rabbit from The Queen's Nose. So cute

junbean · 26/11/2023 18:21

Aurora brand makes the nicest realistic stuffed animals.

A very specific requirement!
CurlewKate · 26/11/2023 18:30

I'm still choosing-I want them all! For context, it's for my rabbit loving daughter-outlaw. It's going to be "packaging" for a silver necklace I've made her.
