Present idea once seperated

Me and my husband have recently separated but I'd like to get him something up to £20 from my son. Does anyone have any ideas?

How old is your son? Could he suggest some things so it's a bit more "from him?"

He's 11. He suggested a waffle machine for his birthday which is more for my son.

Honestly, at 11- either gently point out the waffle machine is more for him and ask him to think of something his dad would like. Or just go with it...

I appreciate it's all probably quite new and strange at the moment but I think it's about your son having a present to give, more than you coming up with a nice idea now that you're separated.
