Gift ideas for new soon-to-be mum?

Does anyone have any ideas what I could get my lovely friend who is about to be a first-time mum? She's due next spring. We haven't done presents in a long time, but I'd like to get her a wee reminder this year as she's going through such a special time in her life.

I'm all for practical. Frozen meals or food/takeaway vouchers. "Coupon" where you come watch the baby for a couple of hours while she goes to have a coffee on her own. Pamper pack (for her). Voucher for a cleaner

If she's not due until next spring I would go for a voucher for a pregnancy massage.

Oooh, pregnancy massage - interesting! I'll have to look that up. Thanks for the ideas.

Something like a COOK voucher?

Sorry didn't read properly, you could get a pregnancy journal or a maternity shoot or something like that although I think the pregnancy massage is a great idea (just check as I went to get one and they wouldn't do it over a certain amount of weeks, but they were a general massage place and other places may be different). You're a lovely friend!

Are you getting her a present for having a baby or a Christmas present?
If the former, massage or other lovely thing.

If the later then NOT something pregnancy related. I'd go for something that reminds her she is a person too. Maybe a book of short stories (because she's too tired to read a whole book) or the NIO mocktails are amazing.

Please not anything bay/new mum/pregnancy related if it is a proper Christmas present.

She is still her own person and does have her own interests. Things like food vouchers etc are good when the baby arrives but not as a Christmas present.

Massage is nice if she is into this in general but I must admit, i found my pregnancy massage fairly unimpressive. I loved my facial more.
