Classic FM - it's started, ever so gently.

I've noticed Classic FM has started dropping in the odd seasonal piece, for those who enjoy that sort of thing 😊

I like the way they build up gradually - a few wintery things, then a few more overtly Christmassy songs, before going full Christmas carol fest.

Ooh thanks for the heads up! I never even thought about listening to classic FM, I will now though!

Awww Classic FMs Christmas "launch" is one of my favourite things about Christmas! I always feel quite bereft when they go back to normal afterwards.

I always have an afternoon listening to John Rutter songs at Christmas.

I have it on in the background a lot for my cats and clocked the other day wait a minute that's Christmasy - this morning they were full on carol of the bells!

Love Classic FM. Have it programmed to come on when my kids get back from school before me and to keep the dog company in the morning.

I agree the gradual start of Christmas Carols is lovely. Always feel a bit bereft afterwards though as it's back to normal on Boxing Day.

Used to listen to Radio 4 all the time but I found it did seem to focus a lot on bad news, how different people are victims etc and there's hardly any Drama anymore.

Years ago I'd have Classic FM on very early in the morning and loved dozing whilst listening to Christmas carols. I first heard my favourite ever carol on it and look forward to hearing it every year.

I love classic FM in the weeks before Christmas. The presenters are always spot on too, no dud ones. Even David Mellor, whom I disliked as a politician but enjoy as a broadcaster.
