Does anyone have one? Are they worth it? Any recommendations? Thinking of getting one for do for Xmas but not sure… thanks

I looked into these in detail last year and realised that the best solution was getting an Apple Pencil and using it with the notes app on an iPad (if he has one obviously). It lets you write with the feel of a notepad and it recognises letters/handwriting which are fully searchable

My DD has a ReMarkable and absolutely loves it and uses it all the time.

She's always been one to write notes and then spent her life looking for the notes! It's so flexible and adaptable and she says it's fantastic.

He hasn’t got one unfortunately. Would buy but one of the teenagers would undoubtedly “borrow” and that would be the end of that 😂

Ideal will have a look at that thanks

Christ that’s £800… does it come with someone to write the notes in unicorn tears for you? 😂

Another vote for Remarkable. It’s expensive, but worth it.

The Kindle scribe was discounted recently. Still expensive but a bit cheaper than the Remarkable.

The Remarkable should be less than £400 just now if you don't want the upgraded cover or pen

I used to have to use one for work and found it was just a massive faff to keep juggling that and my mobile. Just me not taking to it I feel. In the end I swapped my mobile and notebook for a phablet which worked really great for me once I got suitable software on it.

That must be a newer version. I bought it for her for Birthday (a big one!) and Christmas and it didn't cost that. £350 if I remember correctly.
