Posh picnic and north pole tea/craft ideas

Sooo 2 questions really on 1 thread. Firstly my little ones are 5&4 and have asked a couple of friends over for a north pole tea (we leave at 7.30 so breakfast isn't an option). So need some tea ideas and also we were going to make some Christmas crafts so far we have few ideas for some decorations and an advent calendar) other than that stumped....

Also on 23rd we are off to an evening light display. Will do a big lunch at mid day but want to make a "posh Christmas picnic" there's lots of us going from aged 1-80 so need a mixture.
HELP!!!

Arts and crafts for North Pole tea - make/ buy cup cakes and get them to decorate them. Eg googling penguin cupcakes gives some ideas

Sandwiches cut in Christmassy shapes
Rudolph’s red nose cherry tomatoes
Snowmen nose carrot batons
Jacob’s treeselets or M&S tortilla stars
Fox’s Where’s My Elf chocolate biscuits

Oops, no penguins at North Pole! So ignore my penguin cup cake suggestion, maybe polar bears, Fathe Christmas or puffins!

Marzipan sweets - you can pre-colour balls of marzipan and store it in freezer bags in the fridge, then on the day they can make little presents/santa hats/holly leaves/Christmas trees/puddings/robins etc?

Christmas tree shaped crumpets.

Maybe make gingerbread cookies, and let them decorate as Father Christmas/reindeer etc faces. Have a look at the supermarket ones for decoration ideas!
