Children's Christmas pyjamas

Help! My DD (8yo) really wants some festive Christmas pyjamas (I will need to get DS 10 some the same / similar). She LOVES green and pyjamas that are very Christmassy. She is not a girl-girl at all - she doesn't like pink / anything girly. I've had a look online and she's shot down most of my suggestions.

I did look online at M&S (the 2 for £16 deal) - are these nice IRL? I don't have an M&S near me to have a look at them. I don't think she will like the fleecy ones.

I have a max budget of £20 for the pyjamas (they will be a Christmas gift from DD's grandma). Can anyone recommend any nice ones that fit my DD's criteria?

Have you got a primark close by?

They have a lovely set in

I’ve had the M&S ones in that offer for the last few years and I think they’re great. They wear them all year round! I really like that they are 100% cotton too. My children seem to have a thing against being cosy so they don’t get on with fleecy things!

Thank you all - I will ask DD what she thinks of the Primark and JL ones - they look lovely.

@Shantotto your DC sound exactly like my DD! I will see what she thinks to the M&S cotton ones - I was hoping to do the 2 for £16,they did have some lovely ones

If they are a gift why are you asking her opinions? You are making this a lot harder for yourself.

Because buying a gift that doesn't work is daft at best?

Primark have lovely velour green ones. Not girlie. I got similar last year and they wash like a top. They also have LILO ans stitch in navy.

Also check with her if fleece is ok, as that opens up a lot more possibilities.

I’ve bought a pair of green fleecy ones with penguins on from M&S this year for my DD. They’re great quality and super soft. I always find M&S pjs last well.

I got the Lilo & Stitch ones as my little boy just HAS to have the same as his sister, so I'm hoping she'll be happy with them even though they're not particularly girly (which she is!)

Who doesn't love Stitch though...maybe I'll go back and get myself some too 🤣

The M and S pyjamas are really good quality IRL, I have looked everywhere but always ended up getting my kids pyjamas from there in the end.

isthrfishok · 11/11/2023 15:56

I bought and returned the M&S 2 for 16 as the quality was awful. They were so thin. We bought these from Asda and they are fab (and green!)

Ha! I got for me and my two adult kids! They ‘have’ to have new matching ones each Christmas! If we can’t be together on Christmas Day cause of work we zoom each other wearing the matching sets..

I got mine Percy pig Christmas ones.
You can personalise them too!
