100% get a micro scooter - they are so good. You can pick them up secondhand free or cheaply and replace pretty much every part really easily. You can fit light up wheels, tassels, anything your 6 yo heart desires! They are just brilliant!

Regarding the Oodies, I'd suggest only washing them on 20. That way you'll keep the inside bit fluffy and not flat and matted. I've only ever put mine and teenage sons on a 15min, 20° wash and they've came up good, no teen smell left behind, even on the pits. I do use delicate setting on the dryer and it hasn't affected the fluff at all. Just thought I'd mention it incase it helps someone.

@IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile if you give me a budget I could suggest some. You can get cheap ones for £5 or if prepared to spend £30 there are really nice ones available.

@ChristmasIsCome thank you that would be really helpful. Unfortunately budget is capped at £20, if in your opinion I couldn't get reasonable ones for that then I would probably opt for something else, I wouldn't want to unintentionally give him something not up to scratch iyswim. Also he will actually be 14 by Christmas, if that makes any difference.
