Sweaty Betty or LuluLemon sometimes do sales.

TK Max often have yoga equipment: mats, blocks and straps.

I love lulu but probably is more expensive than your budget
does she do it at home ? If so maybe a belt ? Or a towel mat I think they’re called so she can take it to her classes if doing it in studios

Or maybe a ticket for attending a special event or workshop ? If any in your area

If she is going to yoga classes, Amazon will have lots of good yoga bags within your budget. I have one, and bought one for my sister yesterday. Something of a decent size, room for mat and some bits, pockets for jets and bits.

Aromatherapy yoga mat sprays?
Spritz Wellness "relax" & "energise" are really nice blends:

and our class is giving the yoga (wine-lover) teacher this Christmas card!

Something like a nice lavender filled eye pillow and soft blanket for relaxation at the end of a class perhaps?

Cheeesus · 10/11/2023 19:56

Socks! You can buy yoga socks.

Oh I don’t know about that ! I need to search !

If she likes reading, maybe a book that goes a bit more into the philosophy? I recommend anything by Stephen Cope.

cloudglazer · 10/11/2023 20:08

If you know where she practices, they usually sell gift cards.

I think getting actual yoga equipment is tricky because it can be quite personal. I wouldn't want a new mat or blocks or straps or anything like that because I'm quite particular about all of these and already have what I like to use and wouldn't welcome extras. Lots of people wouldn't want yoga socks because they believe that doing yoga barefoot is important for grounding. A book about yoga (I like Seasonal Yoga by Wood and Hanson) or a lavender eye mask or some aromatherapy mat spray all sound like good ideas. Or a cozy blanket or warm socks for relaxation after class.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone

I've found a lavender Eye pillow with a beautiful design and I can go with either yoga socks or a mat spray to go with it

There are different types - either with toes or without, but non slip basically. I like them at home.

I'd get a spray. I wouldn't get yoga socks because it's not great to do yoga in them. What about some liquid chalk instead?
