Nintendo switch lite

We are thinking of getting our two DS an Nintendo switch lite each for Christmas, however completely clueless when it comes to gaming. Does anyone know if they are worth the money ? Do they usually get reduced around Black Friday ? What games can you recommend. Children are 4 and 6. Thank you !

I’m thinking about getting one as well for my 5yo but I’ve been told by friends not to get the lite cuz of the restrictions it has and get the normal version which is £60 more I think

My 8 year old has a light and loves it. I am going to get one for the 6 year old this Xmas

Lites are better for children as they are smaller. It's rare they get reduced, you're looking at around £200 for the console and a game. You will need a Nintendo online membership too.
