1st world problem I know but, I’m trying to get organised.

What to you get your parents or in-laws?
For back ground, the in-laws ask for nothing and have a fairly comfortable life, (if they want it, they buy it). FIL uses a mobility scooter so some experiences are a no-no.
In the past we’ve bought clothing, books, slippers, jewellery, book vouchers, hampers and local butcher meat vouchers.

I’m passing it to you, please, please give me some ideas.

Could you buy them vouchers for a meal out or afternoon tea somewhere? Would they appreciate anything like National Trust membership, RSPB, or a magazine subscription relating to an interest? Jigsaws or games? Rather than a hamper could you them a subscription to a food thing that comes through all/part of thr year (like The Cheese Geek?). Or possibly something like a charity donation - we sometimes give Lend With Care vouchers- (a micro loan site). Theatre tokens have also gone down well before.

I always struggle for ideas as well so look forward to seeing other ideas!

Thank you for posting, I hope you managed to find something.

I'm going down to stay with a friend over christmas, I've just bought her the Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser - it is a magnificent gift. Now to chase down the veggie marshmallows!
