Dr Who screwdriver thing

I haven’t watched Dr Who since it was rebooted. DD has suddenly become obsessed and I know these are a thing. There seems to be all sorts of types and I don’t know where to start. Slightly lost. Is it different for different docs?
Any reccs.

Yes each doctor had a different one.
Which is her favourite, then try googling " doctor who xxx sonic screwdriver" with X being the doctor number (Eccleston is 9, Tennant is 10, Smith 11, capaldi 12, whititaker 13, tennant 14

If it's eccleston you'll have a problem finding it in a shop I think. Best of online, probably even second hand on vinted etc
