Wide fit nice socks

Looking for some mens thick socks that don't grip tight around the ankle. All I can find are diabetic socks and bed socks. Any suggestions for hiking socks that are bigger fitting?

Have you tried Norfolk Socks? They’re likely to have some suitable.
