Hot chocolate maker help

Can anyone link me a decent hot chocolate maker that's inexpensive?

Obviously I know about the velvitiser from HC but ideally would like a cheaper one if possible.

Every time I google I seem to come across milk frothers rather than hot chocolate makers (which is what I'd really like - son with ASD wants it specifically)

SIL bought the Aldi dupe of the Velvetiser last year and really likes it. You'd have to wait and see if it comes back in the special buys but it might do when they start the gift ranges.

Thanks @AdultingIncorrectly - this is the only other one id seen actually on Amazon but had discounted it as it had a few poor reviews but looks like that might not be the case if @doubleshotcappuccino has 3 family recommendations!

Oops sorry haven’t had any recommendations just have three family members who would love some thigh like this sorry to muddy the chocolatey waters !!

doubleshotcappuccino · 23/10/2023 15:41

Some thing ! No some thigh ! This is what happens when you hopelessly jab at your phone whilst in a rush ! I will get my coat !!!

Just buy a dualit one. The HC ones are dualit with the HC branding so you'd be getting the same quality for cheaper

TheOwlChronicles · 25/10/2023 00:35

It's £54 on Amazon. Don't be fooled by them being described as milk frothers either. Same thing

DiscoBeat · 25/10/2023 01:37

We have microwave hot chocolate shakers which were stocking fillers for our sons years ago. They never leak, use with microwaved milk and HC powder.

Hibernatalie · 26/10/2023 17:58

I'm considering a Tassimo coffee machine - they are £35 from Argos at the moment and you can get hot chocolate pods for them. Dairy milk, milka, Oreo etc.

ninja · 02/11/2023 13:40

@Hibernatalie did you get one? My dualit frother has just stopped working and I was going to get another frother - but this looks quite tempting and very reasonable
