We always get a new board or card game at Christmas - any suggestions for ones a 15 year old would enjoy? Needs to work with 3 players. We already have and enjoyed

Ticket to ride
Carcassonne
Pandemic
5 second rule
Monopoly
Five second rule
Throw throw burrito
Exploding kittens

Any suggestions for this year?

Another vote for Catan here.

This year I've got my 15yo DD Gloom - not played it yet, but I think it'll appeal to her dark sense of humour, and love of story telling, really looking forward to playing it

Munchkin is a great game and there are lots of different versions to choose from.

Also, if your teen enjoys silliness, we've really enjoyed playing Telestrations - cross between Pictionary and Chinese Whispers. Works best with at least 4 people though

Not very Christmassy but I like the look of this one!

And on the other end of the scale if they enjoy history they might like the horrible history board game, as an adult history buff I still loved it despite it being kid friendly x

Sorry for the unmumsnetty "x" no idea where that came from, I don't even do that in texts to family 😂

Catan is a great shout. Yahtzee also worth a look.

Isle of Skye has a similar feel to Catan.
