Cracker Gifts

For my sins, I'll be making my own crackers again this year. Take note all about traditions actually making a rod for your own back. I'm looking for some inspiration as I think I've exhausted most obvious options and finding things that actually fit is a right bloody faff!

6 Women & 3 Men
No toys/things that race etc (another family member hand makes these and will cause a row)
Men are 50-75
Women 30-70

Past things I've done are sweets, cheese, preserves, hand creams, lip balms, hand sanitisers, playing cards, scratch cards, personalised hankies, tape measures, soaps/shower gels and bottle openers.

Most unusual suggestion wins sweet FA but I would be very, very appreciative!

Breathalyser

Last year we did Christmas socks for the men and earrings for the ladies. It worked quite well as I could tailor them to their individual taste.

Unusual tea bags
alcohol minitures

I do a lucky dip with a number in each cracker and then numbered presents in a box. Things like travel mugs, mini sewing kit, screwdriver, torch etc. My family love it.

Little bottles of personalised cocktails.

Coffee pods or sachets
nail varnish
golf tees
earrings

Set of kitchen measuring spoons, which is what I always seem to get in crackers!
Key rings.
Mini screwdrivers.
Mini cross stitch kit.
Packet of seeds.

Excellent, except we're all pissed by breakfast, would be off the scale by dinner time so pointless.

This is such a good idea. I used to do that with our refillable advent calendar if I ran out of ideas for little things.

Personalised wine glass charms? Or cocktail stirrers if non-wine drinkers.

Travel essential minis - shower gel, shampoo, sun lotion.

Lavender sachets

If sewers/knitters - a row counter (I’m always losing mine), small scissors, tape measure, pack of needles

Or foreign sweets, scandi kitchen have advent calendars, you could split up the contents of one of those

Nail clippers / file

Light up / glow in the dark mini ducks (from The Works).

I did fridge magnets with photos on them that you can personalise for each guest. Just be more organised than me and remember which photo you put in which cracker so that guest A doesn't end up with a picture of guest B's dog.....

We do a table gift of a scratch card each. Not tried making our own crackers yet

I put perfume/ aftershave in last year. Next do packs with several different travel sizes that fit in crackers.

I've done seed bombs, lavender bags, small soaps, make up, chocolates, Christmas tree decorations, mints in a small tin box, pens. There's also this company that sell all sorts of things, some tat some really nice bits.

Beanies do individual sticks of Christmas flavoured coffee. There are 6 in a box and only £2.50 a box. So you could buy a 2 or 3 boxes and put 2 in each cracker perhaps.

What about those hot chocolate bombes with mini marshmallows inside?
