Xmas for 4yo girl

Sorry if this has been done recently but I couldn't see one. Really struggling for 4yo dd. Since she is second child we already have so many things in the house. Not a girly girl, does like dolls but we already have everything for dolls. Not going to get them loads for Xmas but need something at least! Ideas??

What dose she like?

I have 3 girls so there have always been lots of toys to hand down. At times I’ve re wrapped old toys, sold old toys and bought new for the younger one to open.

When my youngest was 4 I got her a small foldaway barbie house & barbie doll, second hand baby car seat for £1 (best £1 I ever spent), oodie that folds into itself to become a teddy, nice colouring books and pens.

Dose she like superheroes? I saw a cool Spidergwen car in tescos the other day.

Random, but I was in hospital yesterday with one of my DDs and all the kids in the waiting area loved this game.

Balance bike?

What does she enjoy doing or playing with the most and what budget have you set?

Is she interested in:

  • Cooking/Baking type play?
  • Animals?
  • Arts/Crafts?
  • Sports/Physical play?
  • Books?
  • Dress up?
  • Imaginative play eg Playmobil?
  • Building/Creating play eg Lego, magnatiles?
  • Sensory play?
  • Music?

Can possibly help more if we know what sorts of things she shows interest in.

My DD4 is also a fan of dolls. If it's helpful she also likes Sylvanian Families and has asked for tGaby's Dollshouse lego for Christmas. We might also get her a box of random Lego bricks to stop her from stealing her older brother's! She got a scooter for her birthday which has has lots of use over the summer

Other things that would be popular here include crafty bits/sets, play doh, board games.

Thank you so much for your replies. Problem is we just already have a lot of this stuff. She also doesn't really have a set interest in anything in particular which makes it hard to get something she'll definitely like eg either my son he likes one thing so we just buy all kinds of that. I realise I'm being no help here 😂 it really doesn't help her birthday is near Xmas so I have to think of double...

I like the idea of the whack a mole and the coding critters though!

My 4 year old mainly plays with

Magnetic tiles - she mainly uses them to make houses and runs for her little live pet Guinea Pigs and rabbits

Playdough - she got the cafe set last Xmas, pain to store but we'll played with

Playmobil aquarium

Play kitchen and play shop

Jigsaw puzzles

What about a pop up play tent that can easily be folded away?
