As the title suggests, my 3rd baby will be 3 months old at Christmas, we are fully stocked for toys for all ages but my older girls (3 & 6) will be ‘expecting’ their baby brother to also get presents from Father Christmas, I need some suggestions about what we can get for him 😬 thank you!

I would just wrap up a few bits that he is going to need anyway in the next few months - socks, vests, bubble bath, hat etc Maybe one new toy or book that wasn't around when the girls were babies.

I'd put some things that you might get anyway - bubble bath, clothes etc, and maybe toys wise a new bath toy given they get gross quite quickly

I agree, wrap up things like bubble bath, clothes, some more dummies (if you're using them!) maybe a new toy and a new book, how about a Christmas ornament?

Don’t go mad, the above suggestions are good. I didn’t buy my daughter anything for the first Xmas at 2 months old, what was the point. Family members bought loads of tat for her 🤦‍♀️

I was in a similar situation with my third, I bought things like baby bath toys, a babies first Christmas teddy, story book just for baby. My older 2 never asked questions about quantity of the babies gifts, they just cared about what they got.

Mine got a reindeer comforter so that there would be something to open from Santa. It's quite sweet, although to this date he's shown no interest in it!

My DS loved the books with felt flaps when he was little… much less breakable than normal lift the flap books.

Scrunchy book/ pram toys.

Agree with others. I'm only on DC2 but we have all the toys still from DC1. They're going to get some clothes, bath ducks, a puppet which I think DC1 will probably play with more, but they will both like. Going to include a first Christmas tree ornament too.

Friends wrapped some toys she had in storage from baby no. 1, they would come out anyway.

New bath toy, towel (maybe get each one a new one) and bubbles?

His own cup, plate and spoon?

Clothes if you need anything new

My 3rd baby will also be 3month old by Christmas.. I plan to replace the Jumperoo and pop it away for when he is older as our has been very well used and the music doesn’t play anymore.. Clothes in bigger sizes, touchy freely books and maybe some nice plates/cups to put aside for when it’s time to wean? Maybe a wee teddy bear too. It’s more for the boys so they don’t think their brother has been forgotten on Christmas lol

MariaVT65 · 06/10/2023 10:13

Yes i agree bath toys are a good shout :)

Rocknrollstar · 06/10/2023 10:52

How about one of those cloth books that you can put photos of the family in?

Leeds2 · 06/10/2023 11:52

A "Baby's First Christmas" tree bauble.

Namddf · 06/10/2023 20:51

Zero.

Tell them babies don’t get presents until they’re a bit older 🤷‍♀️
