Get ahead desserts

We are going away from the 17th - 23rd and it's my turn to make the desserts this year for our family Christmas.

Any good ideas for freezeable desserts I can make early December to take the stress out of everything?

We're not really a Christmas pudding family, but anything else goes!

This is amazing:

I've even subbed out the amaretto for limoncello & chocolate for lemon zest in the past. I expect you could do the same with Bailey's or other alcohols etc.

That looks great @APurpleSquirrel - thanks! 😊

Lemon roulade freezes really well.

You can freeze a pavlova base. We always have it for dessert on Christmas day, as if there is not too much cream, it feels much lighter than Xmas pudding etc.

Thanks @Gribbit987 - they all look good, but I was looking for freezable rather than frozen if that makes sense? So something I could make in advance and just defrost/do minimal to at the last minute.

Sorry I wasn't clear!

We often have treacle tart. That can be made ahead and frozen.

@ChristmasSprinkles treacle tart is a great idea!

Sticky toffee pudding (although I think you'd need to make the sauce on the day, but it takes next to no time)

Fruit crumble

https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/strawberry-cinnamon-torte this is lovely - though i've never made it with strawberries, only raspberries, cooked apple slices or mincemeat

Poached pears (i add a Schwartz mulled wine bag to the wine to add festive flavours).

Eton mess is so quick maybe you'd have time to make that?
