Posca pens

Currently 25% off at hobby craft. Is this the lowest they generally go or do they get a more generous discount for Black Friday?

Which ones are best for a beginner, medium or a variety of tips?

They used to do 50% off posca, but things have changed recently I think.
Personally, I would go for medium tips to begin with, maybe with some additional tip sizes in black.

I bought a set of posca pens from Hobbycraft in September last year for my DD and they were 50% off. The same set of pens has gone up in price by £4 (full price) and not as generous discount so £14 more than I paid last year.

Ryman and Cass Art sometimes do reasonable discounts too so worth looking at those too. Not sure whether Black Friday will be better as I know it was September they did the 50% offer last year.

My DD loved the pens though and I'd say they were worth the investment. She started off with the 3M nibs and then asked for finer tips for her birthday so has 1M too as she likes to add a lot of detail. They're lovely pens. I recommend getting a pad of black art paper...they look so effective.

Hobbycraft currently has a £5 voucher on their new app if you login to your hobbycraft club account.

Thanks all I may go with the £5 off and 25% and see if they do gift receipts and return and buy again if price goes down.
