Stocking for nearly 11yo

DrLucyVanPelt · 27/09/2023 12:22

11 year old son, struggling for stocking filler ideas as he gets older!

Will keep doing him a stocking for now, along with younger siblings.

Likes football, games and gaming, comics.

Socks, sweets, shower stuff are on my list, but hoping for some inspiration!?

Thank you

Skins for his console controllers (my DS had ones for his football team)
Manga versions of books
Mini Lego kits

All great, Manga especially as probably right up his street but hadn't thought about it, thanks!

I always find Waterstones has good little stocking filler gifts for all ages.

On my 11yo DS stocking list so far:

  • smiggle football key ring
  • Harry Potter slap band from smiggle
  • pop-it lanyard for when we go on a cruise next year
  • Harry Potter pen
  • will probably get him a Fortnite v bucks card

I'm considering getting a super mario sticker book and lots of sticker packs for one of my ds and the trading card equivalent for the other. That and individual character legos to collect with the usual chocolate treats should fill it up nicely.

My dd had manga versions of Shakespeare, fun and educational!

CoffeeChocolateWine · 27/09/2023 18:11

Oh yes, my DS loved the manga Shakespeare books too!

Single bubble tea kits are in Tesco at the mo - down the tea/coffee section by Bubbleolgy

DrLucyVanPelt · 27/09/2023 18:22

Would never have thought Manga Shakespeare existed, will definitely take a look! Bubble tea excellent idea also.

Pin badges for bags (I got some from temu)
Keyring for bag (little prime bottle ones on temu)
Body sprays? My dd is 11 and likes using different ones.
Fun/different sweets. Mine love nerds, Japanese or American sweets.
Always a box of pop tarts and can of drink (this year will be bubble tea, but in the past I've done the pokemon/dragonball ones)
Those sticky men/flickin chicken that stick to the ceiling.
Robux voucher.
Silly socks.
Small card game - dobble/exploding kittens etc.

WeirdPookah · 27/09/2023 19:31

Some fun different sweets, drink mixes, noodles or savoury snacks from Asian supermarkets might be fun.

DrLucyVanPelt · 27/09/2023 19:36

Amazing ideas, tbh I'd love some of these for Xmas!
