Can anyone guide me as to which football boots would impress a 12 year old on Christmas Day?

Following for a 7 yr old too!

I'm afraid it depends what the rest of the team wear, what's fashionable. Does he talk about particular boots? Does he have a good friend he plays with you could ask secretly?

This is what my football crazy 13 year old has just got. Coveted for a while before wearing me down 😂

My football obsessed bigger ones prefer Adidas boots, they've already asked for some for Christmas, white shiny predators for one of them and Speedportals for the other.

You are going to have to observe what the rest of the team are wearing and maybe make some comments like "ooh did you see that boy with pink/gold/white boots?" etc

When my boy was 12 the most coverted boots were shiny pink slip on ones but now he won't wear anything apart from plain black ones.

I know more about Rugby than football boots... but all the brands fit slightly differently... so won't it depend on their feet shape as well? DD had to swap boots as the ones she had originally didn't fit her properly (too narrow, and her feet are standard width!)

Just to add the Nike boots smell like cat wee when wet. Adidas not so much 😂

Oldest DS now 15 used to go for colours when younger but now usually likes adidas predators in black variations... Also he likes multi ground version

@Remagirl omg I thought we had a dodgy pair of Nike Mercurials last year they absolutely honk!!

I insisted this time that we bought a different brand. The difference is staggering!
