Dd2 is turning 5 at Christmas and keeps asking for the barbie dream house. I've told her it's too big and expensive which is true (the bigness, we could stretch the budget) but also although when she plays with her barbies (she has a few of the sets which involve babies and accessories) she seems to really enjoy playing, she doesn't actually play with them all that much.
Do you think the smaller barbie malibu house could be a compromise? Or is it really rubbish compared to the big dream houses.
Dd1 was adamant a few years ago that she wanted the barbie plane, its been plated with a handful of times and mainly with beanie babies so I guess I'm sceptical about buying big barbie merchandise
