9 year old DD, not an especially girly girl. She has short hair so accessories are a no go and has eczema so bath bombs can be hit or miss. Loves football, science and collects gemstones, any suggestions for stocking presents please

My 10yo loves those "Dig kits" where you can dig gems or 'fossils' out of the blocks.

Stationery is always a hit too for my DDs... notebooks, gels pens, post it notes, colourful paperclips, blue tack...

Sweets/treats from other countries? I got my cousin to send me a box of Turkish snacks last year which went down really well.
Funko Pop
Head torch
Ds got a keyring with the phonetic alphabet on one side and morse code on the other last year which was a bit hit.
Top Trumps, possibly football related or there is one on elements
Pocket book on the periodic tablet or a gemstone one.
Rex London do various periodic table themed items including a mug.

At that age I really wanted an amethyst geode. I finally got a small one as an adult.

My 10-yo DD will be getting:

owl hooter (whistle that makes an owl sound; from a National Trust shop)

silver necklace with a bird pendant

washi tape with cats on

small hedgehog plush toy (again from a national trust shop)

a karabiner with a compass on for her bag (NT - can you tell I went mad in the National Trust shops over the summer 😂)

small notebook and pencils, Djeco

scrunchies x 2

soap in a small square tin with cats on - TK Maxx

A few bits and pieces from Rex London sales - hair things and pens etc.

colour changing tealights - Amazon

crystal growing kit in a small box - Amazon

plus a selection of small chocolate items, eg. a Cadbury’s pud, mini Lindt Santa, maltesers reindeer etc., pack of ice cream flavour jelly beans

This is the crystal growing kit I got - small enough to fit in DD’s stocking:

I’ll be getting dd either the joga or gain the edge mini shin pads for her stocking. She’s football mad too and has just started playing for a local girls team

Would also recommend Museum shops. I got stocking fillers from DC at a museum shop this summer. Will add a few joke items and some things they need for sport/school.
