Advent calendar for DH

I need inspiration for an advent calendar for DH.

The last few years, he's had Joe and Sephs popcorn, Snaffling pig pork scratchings and Pukka tea.
I get a beauty calendar so I like to get home something other than just chocolate.

He loves biltong/jerky if anyone can recommend one like that?

Recommendations of other ones are gratefully received too!

we love the escape room ones.

Take care with the cheese ones, they have to be kept in the fridge and the individual plastic wrapped cheese bites sweated inside the plastic a bit.

Ah yes the year my Dads friend gave him a cheeseboard for Christmas it sat happily melting under the tree next to the radiator

DP loved degustabox last year

I got a lovely chocolate one in TK Maxx a few years ago. It was only £15 but had some really unusual chocolates in.

I got this bourbon one for DP last year.

Would you consider making one? I've done this for DP a few times. I bought a wooden one and put a little something behind each door. Another year, I just bought a stack of paper bags, wrote a different number on each day and put something in each one.

What about a
hot chocolate one.

May I ask what kind of things were in it? I've been thinking about one of these for DP for this year. But I didn't want to end up with a box full of stuff we'd have just got at Tesco 😂

@KStockHERO i got the Degustabox for my DH last years it’s ginormous and looks impressive. Contents were mixed some straightforward grocery items but lots of other more interesting snack type things he enjoyed trying. He would like it again.

I got DH 24 different beer bottles/cans and wrapped them in tissue paper and put them in a lidded box.
Cheaper than most beer calendars (we had several before) and DH liked the "lucky dip" part of it.

I'm planning to get so the beard oil calendar from Menkind.

Bonne Maman jam calendar was beautiful last year 😍

The Works does a 24 drawer wooden calendar. You could call it a Sound of Music one and have all of his favourite things jn there. Miniature spirits, chocolate, a cinema voucher, beard balm, etc.
