Quality Street

I am dreaming of the Quality street already 😁 it is after all only a once a year treat!

I normally just pick up a tub or 2 from the local supermarket but I’ve just been browsing Amazon and wonder if it works out better to buy a huge tub/box? but I’m a bit overwhelmed with the choice of supplier and unlike the supermarket that let you know the price per unit, 100grams, Amazon don’t seem to do this - anybody have somewhere good that they buy from and can recommend?

We still get them for nostalgia sake but they make it harder and harder with each year that passes.

Smoothing the foils out with the back of your nail and folding them up really thin to make a ring or a snail (spiral then pinch bits for head and tail)

Easily pleased me

Cannot do that with paper or plastic !

A couple of years running, a few years ago, you could get boxes of 'QS Toffees and Fudges'. One of our local petrol stations had them, and a big Asda, and l bought some on Amazon.
Never seen them again. And l won't buy Quality Street now because they discontinued my favourite malty toffee in the brown foil.
I don't like the fruit creams, but if that's all that's left (and it will be) if l've no other chocolate, l'll eat them. So best not to buy them in the first place.

Anyone remember what order of prefernce when they were nice ?

I liked:
The hazelnut in soft caramel (but Roses one was nicer)
The one like a Rolo with the circles on the top
The orange crispy one
The coconut ones

Last would be ;
Strawberry cream
Fudge
Toffee Penny or the rectangular toffee

I always buy the 1kg tub from amazon!
