Any feedback on best time to book santa train? Is dusk good or better first thing??

Also - is it good? Worth £160? We did LL & Kew last year former brilliant, latter not as good as previous years.

I’m sure there were quite a few posts last Christmas about Longleat and I don’t think they were very favourable. It used to be fantastic when my children were young many moons ago though, so it’s a shame it’s not what it was. Have you looked at the trip advisor reviews of last Christmas as well , I think they will give you an idea of what the issues were.

We've never been but we went to longlete last year, the house had gone downhill. Now only guided tours. Seems like the wife of the son has taken over the place now her FIL has gone. So better check on reviews and see if the trains gone downhill too.

Longleat last year was an absolute shit show!

Didn't do the Santa train, just the safari etc and festival of lights.
I'm pretty sure they oversold, plus there were a few days in the last week before Xmas that it snowed, so they had to cancel those days and move some people over.
It was heaving, and the safari was basically one long traffic jam.

I've only done the Santa train once, about 7 years ago. Think we did it mid morning time.
