The Wintertide Bear is back to £1.81 on Amazon in paperback or £2.49 hardback; I got the hardback. I did think though, would anyone else's DP/DH think they're mental for starting Xmas shopping now? I think if I told mine I bought a Xmas present, he'd think I've lost my mind Grin

Urgh I missed it again! Didn't wake up early enough! No, I have bought 5 gifts already and my other half has been actively providing ideas too 😀

@WimbyAce how about the Gruffalo and friends hardcover book advent calendar on amazon.

Thank you, will take a look as we love a bit of JD 😀

WimbyAce · 29/07/2023 10:00

Ooo Wintertide is still £2.49 hardback! Buying, thanks!

I’m starting to get excited for the Marks and Spencer Christmas Food drop now. Only two months to wait 😂😂

I am excited for the sparks advent calendar lol!

Placemarking. Last few years I've been doing it in December but I'm going to be bit more organised this year!

You can just watch and bookmark the thread, no need to placemark x

Be careful with the winter tide bear. It changes to £9.99 in the basket!

You must have literally just missed the deal because at 10.16am I bought the hardback for £2.49. Keep checking the page, as when I looked the paperback was back up to £6.99 and the hardback down to £2.49.

HideHide · 29/07/2023 13:28

Checking in for another 6 months of bargains 🙌🏻 Hi all 👋🏻

@CavalierApproach would you be kind enough to remind me of the free delivery code for The White Company please? I've looked back but can't spot it.

Real life shopping today as my 9yo dd had money burning a hole in her pocket! She got this from the entertainer. Looks a decent little kit

Also a rock painting kit from the works down to £2.50

How far in advance would you be comfortable buying toiletries /fragrance to give as an Xmas gift?

I'm worried things may go 'off' or at least less fresh if buying in the sales now for this Xmas.

I got perfumes for Christmas that I’m still using. Shops will have stock like that for a long time in their stock cupboards.
I wouldn’t worry about them degrading so long as they’re away and out of direct sunlight, damp etc.

FootSoreandFamcyFree · 29/07/2023 20:51

I don’t think bath bombs last more than 4/5 months. They won’t do any harm but lose their ‘sparkle’.

ChristmasCwtch · 30/07/2023 02:51

I think shower gels and the like are fine for a while. Bath bombs I’d buy much closer to the time.

I nearly got swayed into buying a bargain Amazon Bomb Cosmetics bag of Christmas goodies, but from the reviews it sounds really old and crumbly stock!!

Thank you to the pp who posted the White Company free postage code earlier. I got a couple of sets of these little lights at 60% off, which I'll either use to decorate or give to DD for her bedroom.

B & M have very similar for £2.00

Code MSE40 working at Hot Diamonds even on sale items. Worth a look.

I was going to say exactly the same!

Krawnprackers · 30/07/2023 09:55

What is a good price for the magnetic dress up? Trying to work out what the offer may have been and whether it’s still on? Thanks.

I bought it yesterday for £6.99 (thanks to this thread). It was the Abby and Emma one. I've just had a peek and it looks like it has gone back to its normal price unfortunately.
