@Famousthehero how do you get the radio and podcasts? We have a big one and love it for the cards but don't use it at bedtime or to calm down.

I'm going to get a travel one for DC2 for their birthday because the only downside is the arguments over it! I don't think the big one is worth the extra now we have it. We have a groclock anyway for light/alarm.

If you still have the default button pushes set up then yoto daily podcast is a left button click and yoto radio is a right button click (and you can set in your app a time for it to change to sleep radio ie just calm instrumentals)

if the buttons aren’t set for this any more (you can change what the button clicks do in your app) then you can just play things from your app - in the My Library section you can choose whatever radio station (including Yoto) under Radio, and under the Podcasts part of My Library there are loads of great free kids podcasts (albeit with ads) including our favourite Koko Sleep - the episodes with Meditation in the title actually send our 6yo to sleep which is nothing short of a miracle…

@Magik01 we got one last Christmas when DD was 4.5, I don't think there was anything better than the 10%, I held off until blackfriday just incase. We got a mini, it's used a lot, it's also been good to take on holiday, and you can connect Bluetooth headphones to it when travelling, you definitely need the travel case for it but ours has been a great buy in terms of how often its used and I really like the portability.

How big are the minecraft oodies? I can only see adult ones on offer but my little boy would love one. He's in 7-8 clothing, would it be way too big?

I've bought one for my 7 year old!
They have cuffs on the sleeves to hold them up, I thought it would be extra snuggly for him, and consume his whole body

@Givealittlebit in the details it says One size fits most: the Oodie is based on 6XL hoodie sizing and suits heights from 150cm (5 feet) to 185cm (6 feet) so I don’t think it will be. However Amazon do a version of a minecraft one not as fluffy or as thick but might be an option?

My 8 year old has the adult pizza oodie and it does drown him but he likes it that way!

No, they were £85 til recently and there's always sale on with around £30 off. I got ours in a 241 deal. The Minecraft ones are definitely a bargain though!

It would be way too big. The sleeves have cuffs but anyone saying a 7-8 size is comfy in them, the hood itself is huge and the neck gap would hang down over his shoulders. He'd also need to be careful walking down stairs as it would trip him up.
