Can you tell me what else is in it please Stompy? Or what the other thread said? The three animals featured look really sweet but the other days may be rubbish!!!

Sorry, I don't know, I'm taking a punt on it! For the price I hope there's a similar decoration each day.

FilthyforFirth · 06/08/2023 16:36

If you've got any Tonies to buy, well worth a look on Vinted. I have seen quite a few in packages for less than a tenner, like this Peter Rabbit one

Only5pounds is closing down and has 20% off everything (lots of it in the clearance already) Might be useful for some. Quite a few xmas items and stocking fillers. They also have some of the William Morris items left which would make lovely gifts https://www.only5pounds.com/

Looking for ideas for things for a stocking for a 9 month old

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00068Q7LC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I got these last year for DS when he was 5 months it took a while but they soon became his fav toy. He still plays with them a lot, 13 months now.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/HTI-Flashing-Bounce-Spike-6-5cm/dp/B07GV3VG9S/ref=sr_1_6?crid=3DMEP5SP5OUH3&keywords=spike+bounce+ball&qid=1691351102&sprefix=spike+bounce+ba%2Caps%2C170&sr=8-6 I got this, but cheaper. I saw them in a toy shop for about €2 recently

These are handy https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0B37CYQ35/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

A stacking ring thing, he doesn't use it much.

I really wouldn't buy much. They need so little at this age and don't understand.

He loved going to see light though. Go into the DIY/ garden centre and have a ball!

Thank you! Bought a bunch of wool and knitting needles.

Now to learn how to knit...

If it's for Xmas, there are usually loads in the black Friday sales if you can hold out.

Realfastfoodie · 07/08/2023 07:42

I’ve spotted some nice bits on brand alley including some Emma Bridgewater. Are there any good tips/tricks apart from the new user discount? Thank you!

If you use a referral code you get £20 off a £100 spend. Other than that, there is very little in the way of discounts. It's worth signing up to their emails though as they sometimes send stuff through that way. It's very rare it's on less than an £80 spend though

UrbanMage · 07/08/2023 09:05

Normally by now I'm well underway on Xmas shopping, but this year I'm stumped. No ideas for DD, and DH and I just go for dinner these days. I got the teacher gifts sorted in the bomb cosmetics sale.

Also, the sales just aren't "sales"ing this year or is that just me?

ChristmasCwtch · 07/08/2023 09:11

@UrbanMage totally agree on sales. I’m behind where I usually am with Christmas shopping.

MuffinFeatures · 07/08/2023 09:28

@UrbanMage @ChristmasCwtch I was thinking the same thing! This time last year I’d got so many more presents, and the sales had more variety than this year. I’m feeling behind this year 🎄

Cheese of The World Making Kit - 10 Cheese - Make Your own £7.94
amzn.eu/d/503UCWa

I've just seen this posted on another site, looks like a great foodie gift... shame they won't post to NI for some reason🙃

KTSl1964 · 07/08/2023 10:57

Thanks re tips for toothbrushes.

ThreeB · 07/08/2023 11:15

Thank you for the tip on the cheese making kit @tabbycat985 - that's my Brothers Christmas pressie sorted

mumonthehill · 07/08/2023 11:17

Thanks for cheeses kit, got for ds stocking!

cymrumam · 07/08/2023 11:49

Also bought the cheese kit for dd stocking so thankyou

Pompomagogo · 07/08/2023 12:28

I'm with you on the Oddie Sleep Tees @hby9628 they are totally worth it and so so comfy.
I agree with the sales, M&S didn't seem to have a beauty section in their sale - I usually get some good bits for my sisters. I need to check what I have but i know I have still loads to buy at this stage, in comparison to previous years.

mumonthehill · 07/08/2023 13:28

One Hundred Stars have their sale on, some lovely scarfs at an ok price in the sale.

PeachTea1 · 07/08/2023 13:32

Christmas has officially started - I also picked up the cheese kit, thanks!

Willow4987 · 07/08/2023 13:33

Has anyone seen any bargain deals in presents suitable for a 3 year old boy?

thinking along the lines of magnet tiles / orchard toys etc but to be honest I’d be happy with most things!

it’s for a little boy at my sons nursery and we have his birthday party coming up
