Cheese drunk? I can believe it. I think certain cheeses can give you a sort of 'high'. Particularly really strong hard cheeses. Purely from my personal experiences, nothing scientific about it.

It's because of the casein in it

I was hammered last night on cheese. I think I need help. I just cannot stop the cheese!
