I remember 30 years ago in year 8 English. We had to read a funny poem, a series of thank you letters for rubbish presents. Really sarcastic and passive aggressive. Example along the lines of "thanks for the soap you got me. Just as last year's just ran out. How thoughtful of you!". Tried looking for it online and can't find it. Not sure if it was in the please Mrs butler book
