Mouldy chestnuts

Doing the sprouts with fresh chestnuts for the first time this year. I got chestnuts at the market and thought oh, that’ll be lovely. I boiled them up to get the shells off and around half of them have a little bit of blue mould inside the shell.

What would you do? Dump at the slightest sign of mould, or cut the mouldy bit off and use the rest?

I would dump the mouldy ones. They won't taste very nice.
