Blinis, do you bake them?

Or just put the toppings on straight from the packet?
Wondering if they might not go soggy as quickly if I bake and allow to cool.
Thanks

I always stick shop bought ones in the oven on a baking tray for a few minutes. You do have to wait for them to cool before putting on stuff like cream cheese, but I think it improves the texture - they can be a bit ‘claggy’ when served cold from the pack.

I will do this year after experiencing the inedible hockey pucks from Waitrose Entertaining last year. 😮

Are they shop bought? They usually have instructions how to heat them up on the packet

Definitely bake them then cool, taste infinitely better

Instructions say baking is optional, so based on your advice I'll bake them.
Thank you and Happy Christmas!
