We are on week 3 of this horrid bug, I am starting to feel better but as I haven’t felt a bit Christmassy I am very behind. I need to get the food in tomorrow but no energy or brain cells to think beyond bread, milk and baileys! What do I need? 2 adults and 3 starving teens!!!! Ps Pics of shopping lists would be immense right now

Prepared pigs etcetera
Bread bread bread to fill up on if you run out of food. Booze, loooots of milk. Snacks for treats in between

Oh I forgot potatoes!!!!

I'm sure that's not everything, but should give you some inspiration. I'm a vegetarian who is currently breast feeding a baby with a cows milk protein allergy so I'm pretty restricted this year. We'll be having a mostly dry xmas due to breastfeeding and needing to ferry FIL about.

I 2nd the post about taking as many short cuts as you need to. I've taken loads more than I normally do, due to having a velcro baby and a 4 year old with ASD at the more profound end of the spectrum. I think being kind to yourself will be key.

Oh if you are looking for inspiration for treats you could let your teens make a special request. My mum used to let us do this growing up (being one of five on a very tight budget this was major) I always picked mint choc chip ice cream, thought it was amazing though find it very sickly now. 😂
