Wish I'd not bought the bloody things now. I've got chocolate coins, bath bomb and small toy for kids but not sure what to put in DH one. Don't want to spend too much!

M&S has two different Xmas beers. I put those in. Good sizes for a stocking

triplechoc · 19/12/2022 20:30

The following have all been hits with DH:
Sugru or similar.
Magnetic cable tidy loop things.
Spiced rum miniature.
Flexible extendable torch that’s magnetic.
Chocolate Brazil nuts.

I try and stick to things that I know he’ll use, or will be consumable - we don’t have a big enough house to accommodate novelty/pure ‘filler’ gifts!

TheRookieMum · 19/12/2022 20:30

Things I've bought this year or in the past (he gets a small portion of this list and it depends what else I've got him):

Beard trimming kit
Various toiletries
Slippers
Gloves
Sweets
Chocolate
Coffee
Beer
Fruit
Chocolate coins
Christmas t shirt
Socks
Belt
Sunglasses
Pens
Vouchers or tickets
Puzzle or game
Book
Something hobby related
Something small as a joke gift

I literally just do nice food bits for my DHs, all his treat foods that I know he'll enjoy!

Topbird29 · 19/12/2022 20:33

We do a little stocking. Each gets a mini can of g &t or similar, a lindt reindeer or teddy (not the biggest size), and maybe a shower gel we like. Nothing massive. But once we started with the dc, we had to carry on! Depends if you are doing it ad a token stocking, or part of main presents.

penneforyourthoughts · 19/12/2022 20:33

Sort of have a theory that you can do the whole of a stocking in a supermarket: some kind of booze, a book, chocolate, favourite biscuits, some lovely condiments, a bath or shower product.
