I'm after inspiration to go with the York City Walls Treasure Trail I've got mine. It's a circular walk that takes about 2 ish hours & points out various landmarks/buildings of interest sorts of things, while solving a mystery.

I'm a bit stumped what else to get him though 🤔 He likes walking & is into tech, but buys himself what he wants, when he wants 🤷‍♀️

What are you giving your dad? Maybe something will inspire a 💡 moment!

The huge security costs to the British tax payer for trained royal protection officers to facilitate their half in half out would be an astronomical cost to the british taxpayer. As it would potentially have meant providing this I the US I believe and the flights for the officers to and from the US and overnight accommodation. So why the hell should we pay for their choice? So I think this is essentially the crux of everything. It explains Archie not having g a title (which would come with security)
That H &M will burn through money massively quickly. It explains to some extent the request for protection officers that Harry is taking the government court about. Perhaps they realise they may as well go full throttle in revealing everything. Might explain Meghans point "when the stakes are this high" I was completely lost when they made the claim of being married 3 days before. That tax
Taxpayers stumped up millions for a "spectacle" I find grossly insulting. Then to tar the UK public as racist how dare they make such lib

Yeah, but what are you getting your dad for Christmas? 😂

Haynes manual for a Spitfire. It'll be right up his Street.

A Roku for the TV, as they are downsizing their Sky package so will give them a few more program options and ability to play YouTube on the TV.
Readly subscription went down well last year. Always get him some Indian snacks as well.

Two T-shirt’s from Weird Fish and those Cheeses beers someone from Reasties Christmas thread raved about. I want to get a little something extra so watching this thread!

123woop · 16/12/2022 14:50

A calendar, a cork screw, foodie bits, some booze, some books we think he'd like

Pascha · 16/12/2022 14:54

Whisky. Same as last year, and the year before that, and the year before, and the year before etc etc etc.

Dad doesn't do 'stuff' and he knows what he likes. Easy. If only everyone else were this simple.

A jumper, a shirt and a CD (yes, he still plays those!)

MrsMiddleMother · 18/12/2022 02:59

£50 m&s voucher and some handmade decorations from the kids
