DDs main present is tickets to the Abba voyage show in London. How can I give them in a fun way?

I got some concert scratch cards from etsy, you might be pushing it for Xmas now though.

Once I bought a diary for ds and wrote the event in it, he pretended to be so excited to get a diary, bless him, it took him a good 10 minutes to find the entry that said he was going to that gig 🤣

For my dds I made up a box of little bits to do with the band I was taking them to see (calander, stickers etc and put the tickets in there).

Mum and Dad made a DVD for us when we were younger with a suspenseful presentation on it! It was in a box in a box in a box too.

Could you tie a helium baloon to the tickets with some fancy ribbon, pop the whole thing in a box with a lid, and wrap it?

They unwrap, take off lid, tickets float up.

I've bought DS gig tickets. I'm going to roll them up in a poster of the band.

Buy the Abba 2023 calendar and paperclip the tickets to the month she's going?
It looks like a pretty ordinary present until she starts flicking through Wink

I've printed out ticket confirmation and a print out of the tour with date on it.

Nice card.
Prit stick (last used probably in primary school, I had to cut half of if off to find softness!!)
Pasted in, looks pretty good!

Just looks like a card in an envelope but I can't wait for the reaction!!!

I've also got theatre tickets for my dad. Last year I made a photo card at moonpig with a poster I copied online on the front and the date, theatre etc on the inside.

Inside an ABBA t shirt?

Tickets are such a PITA gift to think up fun ways for, DH love tickets though... its even hard now as everything is digital so not even a physical ticket to gift.

Ill have to watch this thread for new ideas lol.

My wife made me a quiz and all the answers were clues to do with the date, city and band I was going to see. It was bloody difficult and I didn't crack it for a couple of hours!

Floralnomad · 15/12/2022 10:09

A couple of years ago my daughter had tickets as a gift and I put them inside a Chinese puzzle box .

NoDairyNoProblem · 15/12/2022 10:18

I have printed foil tickets for DD from Etsy but won’t be guaranteed delivery now .

For precious tickets we have a see scratch reveal ticket from Amazon too.

Oblomov22 · 15/12/2022 10:31

All the above ideas are good. You don't need the actual ticket, any image or confirmation will do, print it off, stick it to something. Done!
