My DC has messaged me from school on their lunch that they forgot about SS which has to be taken to school tomorrow.
What can I get for a laddy football playing 13 year old boy for around the fiver mark and seems a bit more thought out than sweets and chocolate (my only idea).
I need to be able to get it from the supermarket or B&M/Home Bargains this afternoon.

Thank you!

If you have an Asda near you maybe see if they have any prime drinks?

Asda had lots of world cup stuff cheap... I got a mug for 75p the other day.

a water bottle could work too... Asda has a Science in Sport one for £4 or bice black metal ones for £5.

I dont think you'd go wrong with a load of sweets and chocolate, but if you want to be a bit fancy, then buy a cheap mug and put sweets in that.

Oh dear not World Cup stuff, that’s a sore subject, B&M had an Xmas Pringles pack for £4.99. The big tube of Jaffa cakes have proved popular for ss in the past for my two. Love it when kids tell you right at the last minute, been there so many times 😂

Not really a sore thing... millions of people follow teams that lose, they dont stop supporting them and wearing their stuff, hardly like it was once in a life chance everyone I know went into it knowing we would lose they just enjoy watching lol.

Our Tesco's had both playstation and Xbox themed playing cards for £4, that plus a £1 bag of sweets would be a good present.

Also a baby yoda mug for £3.50 and a harry potter trivia game for £5.
