Lighting ideas for windows

Not putting up any outdoor lights this year so looking for ideas for inside the windows, preferably gold/warm white.

Does anyone have any good ideas please?

I've done a simple string of fairy lights all around the edge of each window (on the inside) and they look so beautiful! I'm really pleased with them - it's all twinkly and cosy looking and was so easy - just used a command hook in the corner of each window.

I put some nice baubles on a thin branch that we cut off the tree in our back garden. Added some battery lights. Looks very effective

The branch and baubles idea is wonderful and so simple.

I got these from Aldi a few weeks ago, they were about £15 I think.
