Anyone know how long orders are taking? If I order today will it get here for Xmas?

I wouldn’t risk it, there’s too much variation. Some things seem to already be in the UK and arrive within 3 days and others takes 3 weeks and that’s without postal strikes.

I wouldn't bank on it because of the royal mail strikes. I ordered the 27th November and it said it would be here by the 11th to 13th and I tracked it earlier and its not moved in 5 days.

I wouldn't order from Shein at all. They are the kings of sweatshop production.

I ordered on the 14th of November and it was here in 8 days. The longest I have waited is 14 days . I have obviously been quite lucky! I am unsure whether I would risk it!

In normal circumstances it wouldn't be an issue, most of my orders arrive within 7-10 days, even those coming from China but with the RoyalMail strikes i probably wouldn't risk it. I'm actually placing an order today but nothing is needed for Christmas so I'm not overly bothered if it gets delayed until January.

It’s easy to be able to afford! You don’t buy from Shein and therefore spend nothing. I know it’s done now, but please don’t buy from Shein.

I won’t order this time as I don’t think it will come in time but I’m not going to stop ordering from them.

My shein parcel arrived in the uk on 28th November and no update since. This is with Royal Mail. Dd made an order a few days later and hers arrived in a week but delivered by evri. Personally I wouldn't risk it in case it's a Royal Mail delivery.

Is there a way to select which one or it’s just luck? Mine was RM last time I’m sure

I didn't see anywhere that you could select the carrier. Might depend on which items you order. I ordered clothes and dd got jewellery.

They are really slow and a lot ships from China so I really wouldn't rely on them at all.

Hey, mine arrived in the UK on the 2nd December, no movement, has yours or anyone elses moved yet?

I have an order that seems to have sat with the Royal Mail since 2nd December. I'm not sure at what stage I contact Shein.

I had another order that I ordered about a week before the stuck delivery and that arrived very quickly and with no problems at all.

I've seen other posts on Facebook about Shein parcels arriving with Royal Mail late November/early December and not moving.

I assume the strikes are to blame. It won't be long before no one uses Royal Mail for anything and the workers there all loose their jobs because of it. There are more reliable alternatives now.

I've just checked and my order is on the move again - at last! It should arrive today.

Hopefully the backlog is being cleared and orders will start arriving in time for Christmas.

To anyone concerned, my package which was due 7/8th of December is now in my city and I think due to be delivered in the next few days 👍
