What are you getting your 12yo girls?

Mine is getting:
Stuff for making sushi (which feels mean as am therefore including stuff like an avocado, cucumber, sushi rice, soy sauce in a gift...)
Mini Macaron gel nails kit (cute and not massively expensive - about £25 on offer).
Tickets for an event she’ll love
Books
Sport top
Pyjamas & slippers (needed items rather than desperately exciting - I would’ve been getting her there anyway)

Im struggling for brilliant ideas, and it all feels wasteful so I’m determined not spend huge amounts on anything I’m not 100% certain she’ll like & will be use.

I did consider:
Velvetizer
Cricut Joy
Roller skates
Photo printer or instax / Polaroid camera
.... but felt like none of them would actually be used that often. Maybe yours would find them appealing though?

we are getting an x-box as a family gift to share, so might buy her a couple of games.

For those who have bought skincare stuff, can you share what you've bought your dds please?
Dd has also asked for skincare items but I'm not sure what's suitable.

My dd12 has been using Simple stuff for the past 6 month and her skin is always glowing

What about olaplex? The ordinary is decent skincare for younger ones too, and affordable.

I went for a reusable makeup remover sponge, a pack of Simple miniatures (facewash & moisturiser) some small facecloths. Hoping she'll stop leaving makeup all over the white towels 😬

I posted on S& B about this for my 12 year old for her birthday, ended up buying the Amie range- specially formulated for young skin- and reasonably priced. I got her the glowy skin one- it’s smells delicious & she’s very happy with it.
