Playmobil for just turned 2 year old

My brother has said that some Playmobil might be a good gift for my niece. She’s just turned 2. Would the basic 123 stuff be a bit babyish do you think? (It says 18 months plus on the packaging). I can’t remember how old my girls were when they first got ‘real’
Playmobil. Thanks!

Real playmobil is far too small for a just turned 2 year old. The 1, 2 3 stuff is literally aimed at her age.

Normal playmobil is way too small for a just turned 2 year old. Get her the 123 stuff and it'll be fine for her to play with now as well as lasting her several more years until she's old enough for proper playmobil.

My 4 yo still plays with the 123 stuff loads. She got some ‘real’ playmobil when she was 3 but it has loads of tiny pieces and I’d say at 2 the 123 range is much better. DD got the 123 house for her 2nd birthday and it was a huge hit.

The 123 stuff is perfect for her age.

We had the little police station and it was great. Although mine are boys.

The little 'family home' they do looks amazing. Perfect for starting off their small world play.

My 2yo lost all the small parts from normal playmobil with a few days. I'd get the 123

123 stuff is brilliant, definitely not too young.

Thanks all! 123 it is!

Definitely the 123 range or Happyland (my DD absolutely loved that at the age of 2, more so than her Playmobil 123).

Definitely 123. There are too many small parts in the older Playmobil (although it's fab for ages 4 and up, depending on the set). Xmas Smile

Definitely 123. It's nice stuff and my kids never really moved on to the older Playmobil (preferred lego) but still enjoyed their 123 sets for years. My current class of 6/7 year olds love playing with the playmo 123 zoo still, so it's a good investment for a 2yo
