I love mine! Definitely makes a difference to my curly hair. I have one and have asked for another for Christmas so I can have one all the time

FictionalCharacter · 06/12/2022 08:58

I had one for Christmas last year and absolutely love it.

UrsulaPandress · 06/12/2022 08:58

Advice as to where sells the best (value for money) please.

SuburbanMummy123 · 06/12/2022 09:00

Mine was from John Lewis, very happy with it

RubaiyatOfAnyone · 06/12/2022 09:01

I got some some nice ones from www.jasminesilk.com - i got silk on one side and cotton on the other so they didn’t slide around.

YuliaJollyberry · 06/12/2022 09:04

Love mine. I’ve curly hair and it’s really made a difference. I tried a satin one first, was impressed so graduated to a Slip silk one.

LadyEloise1 · 06/12/2022 10:17

Love mine.
You'll need 2. One on the bed and one in the wash.
I got the ones with silk on both sides rather than silk on one side and cotton on the other as I turn my pillow over before going to sleep, as it gets flattened a bit when I read in bed.

BeaLola · 06/12/2022 10:21

Love mine - have longish fine hair - definitely makes a difference

monsteronahill · 06/12/2022 10:21

I absolutely love mine! Makes a huge difference to hair frizz and also my skin. John Lewis ones are a winner for me 😊

Persimmo · 06/12/2022 10:25

I love mine and also have a silk hair cap thing - I tried a few and one left a line on my face from the elastic and some slithered off in the nights. I got pillow cases and the cap (that worked) from Thisissilk.

my hair is very fine but there’s a lot of it.

silk thermals next!

Garageinconstantuse · 06/12/2022 11:12

I've just bought one for my mum. I googled for reviews/tests and found "ThisIsSilk" via an Independent article. They are £60 BUT they have some colours in their Black Friday sale (2 for 1 essentially). And free delivery.

gianfrancogorgonzola · 06/12/2022 11:14

I absolutely love mine too. Slip are the best.

Sunnidaze · 06/12/2022 11:19

I have them, have curly hair, I don't find they make any difference to how my hair is in the morning. I think they are a gimmick.

Hairgician · 06/12/2022 11:21

Sounds like they will be worth it then. Thats everyone sorted for christmas now😀🙌 i shall check out the brands listed too, id seen the blissy ones advertised so will do price checks. Thanks ladies.

I've had them all and the John Lewis and M&S ones are identical to the Slip and Silke ones yet half the price

Bear in mind they don't last very long! Even if you vow to handwash, you'll maybe get 6-9 months out of one before they start getting tatty

I use these. They are fantastic.

EspeciallyD · 06/12/2022 11:50

Didn't like mine and got rid of it, it made no improvement to face or curly hair, I hated the feel of it and it didn't match any of my other bedlinen.

LadyEloise1 · 06/12/2022 15:21

Mine were from Texbee on Amazon. They have a zip opening which is very handy.
I would repurchase -the best recommendation.

Does it stop your curls from going frizzy?

ChristmasJoysuckers · 11/12/2022 21:31

I also love mine and touch wood it washes well

Remindmeofababe · 11/12/2022 21:38

Coco and Wolf have the most beautiful silk pillowcases. Stunning Liberty designs. Made in Somerset. They are seriously swoonsome.

Yes, it helps the overnight frizz. Not entirely, but noticeably. I also tend to go to sleep with wet hair occasionally (yes yes I know probably not healthy) and the curls are actually half decent in the mornings with the silk pillowcase.
