Hi all

We will be celebrating Christmas with our entire family this year. My parents will do main/ brothers & wives the rest and we are in charge of bringing pudding. 😂
What do you usually eat for pudding on Xmas day? We're not fans of the traditional Christmas pudding. So any other ideas & where to buy from? My friend suggested M&S puddings so will have a look into that. Any other ideas? Tia x

I'd go for chocolates, really good ice cream, nuts, fruit eg tangerines, grapes etc - if this is to follow a) starters and b) a traditional Xmas roast dinner with various side dishes.

Also a cheeseboard.

We love the Lidl chocolate house from the freezer the kids love to pour warm chocolate sauce over it to melt it

Sherry trifle and sometimes Lemon meringue pie, both homemade, the trifle by me and pie by DM.

I make homemade chocolate mousse with a few berries. It's so simple but very decadent and can be done in advance.

I do a raspberry trifle but I do it all from scratch as it's much nicer than the box kit (which I'd still eat and enjoy but the home made version is amazing!)

A boozy black forest gateau is a nice option too.
