Is anyone done with present buying?

Done, done & done. Bought DH’s watch today and my Christmas card to him as is our tradition to exchange cards.
My physical health has been getting increasingly worse so it’s a big relief to not have to make any more trips or decisions.

DD(20) stayed over and she and DH put the tree up mostly for me as I love it. It’s very nice of them. Sitting next to it is cheering me up.

DH can deal with food. I would be happy with crumpets for Christmas dinner if I’m honest.

I'm very close now, all the big things are ordered and starting to arrive. I'm having them sent to my office and I have wrapping paper here so I can check them and wrap them immediately. I will the transport them to their spot under the Christmas tree. My this weekend I will be entirely done with presents but still have the food shopping to do and we're hosting this year so it's a LOT to buy.

Decorations went up last weekend so I am actually feeling organized for once!

Yes..only have to buy for two people...all done months ago...!!

Yes I'm done, but loads of wrapping left to do. Going to finish that on Saturday morning.

Turkey and all other food shopping and booze is on order or stashed on top of the kitchen cupboard, apart from some nice cheese and other picky bits I will be picking up from the market tomorrow. Decorations all done and the days out we are doing are all booked.

I find December so busy it is lovely once its all done.
