Mad at myself for not ordering

I've still got the main presents to get for 2 of my dc. I saw they were on Black Friday offers but couldn't afford them until I got paid.

Now the prices have risen and I'm fuming at myself - I could have used credit to get them but didn't want to and now I've done myself over!!

No point to this post other than to moan at myself haha.

Not exactly the same but I saw a toy kitchen for £80 instead of £100 in Argos before black friday but waited to see if would be any cheaper. Not only did the price go back up but it isn't in stock for delivery or at any store now and the only others I can find that I like cost more and time is running out 😬

Yeah I went to buy a dress today that was a tenner expensive than it was in the Black Friday sale. They didn’t have my size. Wish I had got it on Black Friday and the correct size dress would be here now and it would have been a bargain.

Exactly the same here with Argos
DS1 wants a Vax Spotwash for Christmas, I couldn't stretch to it last week at £87 but today it's £100

Exactly what happened to me last year with a new phone for DS. I think I had to pay £100 more on top of £400 Black Friday price. I told the kids to tell me what they wanted this year before Black Friday so I could sit and google. There wasn’t any offers but I felt better for it!

Are they electronics?
If not it could be they are reduced again before Christmas.
For example argos often reduced toys by a lot in the weeks running up to Christmas.

I had this with a bed. Decided to wait till Black Friday to buy… and the price went UP 25%!!! They increased all their prices on every product permanently 🤦🏼‍♀️

I then found a similar bed elsewhere for half the price I was originally looking at and I’m really happy with it. The first company totally lost the sale.

I did the opposite. A massive skin care haul last week. This week they have 75% off lots of my faves 🥲

@NoNamesLeft234678 Honestly I'd not bother buying new, there are always masses of kitchens on FB Marketplace for £20-50 often with amazing accessories, and some you don't need to touch up the paint. My friend paid £25 for a lovely one, she's got her dad to re-paint some of it in purple and it looks absolutely brilliant, it's got all the pots, pans, wooden food etc

Amen to this! Definitely buy second hand. Not only is it cheaper and better for the environment but you don’t spend Xmas Eve putting together a wooden kitchen with 7k parts!
